Composite Filter

The Composite operation allows you to combine multiple signal processing steps into a single workflow. This feature is especially useful when you want to apply a consistent sequence of filters and operations across one or more records.

Workflow:

The Available filter list shows all signal processing tools and filters defined in the Project Tree.

The Included list contains the operations that will be executed for the input suite.

Operations can be added, removed, or reordered using the buttons:

oAdd – Move the selected operation from Available to Included.

oRemove – Remove an operation from Included.

oUp/Down – Adjust the sequence of operations.

Note: The operations are performed in the exact order defined in the Included list.

Options:

Name – Define a custom name for the composite operation.

Record Postfix – A postfix added to output record names for easy identification (e.g., _Comp).

Type – Specifies the composite type.

Apply to Components – If checked, operations are applied to each component individually (H1, H2, V).

Apply to Triplets – Choose which record components (H1, H2, Vertical) to process.

Keep Intermediate – When enabled, QuakeManager saves the record after each operation in the sequence, making intermediate results available for review and plotting. If disabled, only the final processed record is saved.

Input/Output Suites: the set of records to be processed / the suite where processed results will be stored.

Preview Charts – Enables interactive preview of time-histories and spectra, updating automatically as options are changed.
