Column Layout Templates

 

 

 

 

The “Column Layout” manager allows the user to save multiple record view column layouts:

Layout Selector: When the user selects a new layout from the the Ribbon drop-down box, the record view is modified to reflect the newly selected layout.

Save Layout: Save current layout such that the current columns (Title, RSN...) are saved such that current view may be retrieved later using the "Layout Selector".

Manage Saved Layouts: The created layout(s) can be modified, deleted and renamed where one or several columns can be removed. Users may choose the "Modify" bottom to delete or re-order select column(s).

 

 

The "Manage Layout Templates" dialog contains the default and user-customized layouts, whereas the "Manage Layout" dialog contains all the fields in a certain layout which can be deleted or moved.

Rename

Rename the selected layout.

Delete

Delete the selected field(s) from the Record View Pane.

Move Up

Move up the selected field so it will appears before in the columns arrangement.

Move Down

Move down the selected field so it will appears before in the columns arrangement.

 

The figures below shows the default layout (first figure) and a user layout (second figure) in which Event ID, Regime, Mechanism and Dip are added. Note that users may delete undesired columns.
