Download From NGA-West2

To obtain the time histories of the records, the user can download the record files from the online NGA-West2 database through the following steps:

Access the online NGA-West2 database

Click on the NGA-West2 database icon

Log in with your credentials

Search for records by their RSN and/or by supported record filters

Click on the "Search" button

Review the search results and choose the records you wish to download

Download the records using the "Download Search Results (metadata+spectra)" or "Download Time Series Records (metadata+spectra+traces)" button

Unzip the downloaded files and identify the records with the ".AT2" extension, which represent acceleration files.

Copy the ".AT2" files and paste them into the NGA-West2 folder within the GMLibrary directory on your disk. The default location for the NGA-West2 folder is typically: C:\GMLibrary\NGA-West2.
