The Ground Motion Library is a ground motion database record manager within QuakeManager that provides the ability to organize, browse, and search a large number of ground motion records, both individual Components and Triplets.
The records that are provided by the Ground Motion Library are stored in one or more QuakeManager Ground Motion Database files (a database file with .db extension). Two types of records are distinguished: Component Records and Triplet Records. Component records are generally assigned and associated with a Triplet, usually up to 3 components per Triplet representing two horizontal (Components #1 & #2) and one vertical component (Component #3). However, Components and Triplets can exist on their own and do not need to be associated with another Component or Triplet.
Currently, QuakeManager can open one Ground Motion database at the same time. In the future, it should be able to open multiple libraries concurrently.
