Spectra Development Online Tools
Several tools are available to engineers and users to obtain the spectral parameters of a specific site. After obtaining the spectral parameters, users may input them in the IBC spectrum in which QuakeManager develops the spectra. Below is a list of helpful online tools in which users can obtain the spectral parameters in very few minutes:
•USGS
•ASCE 7 Hazard Tool
•ATC Hazard By Location
USGS USGS is a web service that provide seismic design parameter values from numerous design code editions. Users may select the Reference Documents Endpoints (ASCE, NEHRP, IBC...). USGS has also provided examples and manuals for each Reference Documents to obtain the spectral parameters.
ASCE 7 Hazard Tool
The ASCE 7 Tool is an interactive tool in which users can obtain the spectral parameters by inputting the Address or Latitude and Longitude of the site, Risk Category and Site Soil Class.
ATC Hazard By Location
Similar to ASCE 7 Tool, users may define the location of the site, Reference Document, Risk Category and Site Class to obtain the spectral parameters.
