Before installing the latest version of QuakeManager, and if the user has a previous QuakeManager installed (v2.21 or earlier), please check the section “Preserving Custom Database Records” section.
Also note that QuakeManager 3.00 and later versions can be installed side-to-side with QuakeManager 2.21 or earlier. However, before installing version 3.00 or later, please uninstall any previously received QuakeManager 3 beta versions.
Note: During any stage of the installation, the installer should be allowed administrator privileges when requested.
1. Download QuakeManager from the download link provided by email.
2. Run the installer.
3. If the machine is missing some dependencies required for QuakeManager, the installer will give a prompt to install them. Click “install”. If the following prompt does not appear, skip to step 5.
4. The installer will download and start the installer for the dependencies.
5. Once the installer makes sure that dependencies are fulfilled, it will start with the main installation. Click Next.
6. When reaching the “License Agreement” page, select “I Agree” and click Next.
7. On the “QuakeManager Information” page, click Next.
8. Fill the name and organization. Click Next.
9. The installer will ask where to store the QuakeManager’s “Ground Motion Library”. Keeping the default location is recommended, but it can be changed as desired. Click Next.
10. The installer will ask where to install QuakeManager and whether to install it just for the current user or everyone. Selecting “Everyone” and keeping the default location is recommended, but it can be changed as desired. Click Next.
11. Confirm the installation by clicking Next.
12. Wait for the installation to finish.
13. Once done, it is possible to immediately start QuakeManager upon closing the installer. Uncheck the checkbox to just close the installer without starting QuakeManager. Click Close.
